No one ever reads a book. He reads himself through books.
My husband turned up his nose at me when I started watching Teen Wolf, but I caught him paying attention, even though he denied it.
Then, he went to work, and I kept watching Teen Wolf, dammit.
Then, he came home and got upset that I watched it without him.
I said, “You told me you weren’t interested.” And he said, “I was lying! You should always be able to tell when I’m lying about stuff like that!”
The truth? I did know he was lying. But I wanted to keep watching. So I did. And it’s his own fault for saying he wasn’t interested in the first place. So there.
